Top 10 OLB in the NFL

1. Demarcus Ware

One of the best Defensive players in the league period if not the best. Most feared pass rusher in the league. He must be found before every snap or expect a sack. Has only been under 10 sacks in 1 season and that was his rookie year when he had 8. Had 20 sacks in 2008 and 15.5 last season.

2. Terrell Suggs

3. James Harrison

I believe is a great player but an overrated one. He makes plays but can only rush the passer and plays with alot of other great defenders. Horrible in coverage and decent against the run.

4. Clay Matthews

Beast. Fast and his biggest intangible is he is relentless. His motor never stop. One of the future stars of this league. I expect him to be in the 2nd spot by the end of next season.

5. Lance Briggs

The only 4-3 linebacker on this list. He forgotten because he is not asked to rush off the edge like these other linebackers. He is now the Bears best linebacker and plays like it.

6. Cameron Wake

7. Lamarr Woodley

8. Tamba Hali

9. Shaun Phillips

10. Brian Orakpo

Another bright young star like Matthews. Been to two pro bowls and is relentless coming off the edge. Will continue to get better and will put up monster number if they can find another pass rusher on the other side.

Top 10 ILB in the NFL

1. Patrick Willis

Like Ware, He one of the best if not the best defensive player in the NFL. There is nothing that he cant do at the MLB position. Dominated week in and week out and is one of the primary reasons 49ers defense is highly ranked.

2. Jon Beason

Still dominate with no kind of front line help in front of him. Can be debated if hes is the best defensive MLB in the NFL. Not a household name because of the team and the market that he plays in. Through his first four seasons Beason played in 64 games, recorded 417 tackles, 4 sacks, 8 INT and 3 FF.

3. Ray Lewis

He still has it, but not like he use to have it. He still flies around the field and make plays. Age has slowed him down a bit but hes still the 3rd best MLB in the NFL.

4. London Fletcher

5. Demeco Ryans

6. Jerod Mayo / Lawrence Timmons

7. Brian Erlacher

Age and injuries has got the best of Erlacher but hes still an elite player in the NFL. Not the superstar he use to be but can still play at a pro bowl level.

8. Jonathan Vilma

9. David Harris

10. Karlos Dansby

Top 10 DE in the NFL

1. Dwight Freeney

Ranking defensive ends is really your own preference. I think Dwight Freeney is the best in the league because his ability to rush the passer better than anybody. Not that great against the run be will be in the top in sacks yearly. His spin move in unstoppable and his speed is his weapon.

2. Mario Williams

Beast. Great against the run, great the pass. Most athletic player in the NFL. Must stay healthy but is slow becoming unblockable

3. Julius Peppers

Same as Mario Williams. Beast and all around athlete. People say age but he dominated last year with Bears and almost ended Brett Farve career the year before with the Panthers. Capable of 15 sacks and 20 TFL a year.
4. Jared Allen

5. Richard Seymour

Most unappreciated player in the NFL. If you understand defensive line then you know why. The best defensive end against the run. The Patriots are still hurting to replace his services. He able to play End and Tackle.

6. Justin Tuck

7. Justin Smith

8. Trent Cole

9. Robert Mathis

A great pass rusher but the question is would he have the same success if he didnt have Freeney on the other side. I think so.

10. Elvis Dumervil

One of the great pass rushers before he got hurt last season. Broncos moved to a 3-4 and made him the rush linebacker but moving back to a 4-3 will show his ability again.

Top 10 DT's in the NFL

1. Haloti Ngata

The Best lineman in the league period!!..Easily the best defensive Tackle and is a top 5 defensive end when the Ravens move him to End. Versatile as hell, can play DT, Nose, and End. Can not be blocked with one player.

2. Vince Wilfork

The sole reason why the Patriots does not get ran on up the middle. The best Nose Guard in the NFL. Not one center can handle him one on one. If hes not double teamed on run plays, expect him to make a TFL.

3. Ndamukong Suh

After one season he showed enough ability to earn this spot. Helped anchor the Lions to have one of the top 5 defensive line in the NFL. Lead the NFL in sacks at the DT position. He needs to get better against the run but he was only a rookie and that will get better over the year.

4. B.J. Raji

SEE Vince Wilfork. The same ability and the same talent. Still a young talent and not many plays made as Wilfork but the team uses him in different ways. He plays some D End and they drop him in coverage. Stout against the run. A fan favorite in GB and will become a house hold name after this season.

5. Kevin Williams

Use to be one of the top 3 DT's in the NFL. Age and injuries can set him back a bit but hes still a monster. Prolly the best pass rushing DT in the NFL

6. Darnell Dockett

7. Kyle Williams

If u dont know about the guy. Go look at his season. The only guy on the Bills front 7 that came to play week in and week out. Had a high sack number and was 2nd team All pro.

8. Jay Ratliff

9. Tommy Kelly

10. Albert Haynesworth

Let me say that this. Hes easily one of the 2 best DT on this list without debate. Hes too big to run near, he rips thru double teams and makes TFL's and hes a great pass rusher. If you disagree look at the contract he earned with the Washington Redskins. Every penny was earned after his last season with the Titans. The reason hes 10th is the situation hes in now. As a former DT myself, i know their is a huge difference between Nose guard and 3 Tech. Washington didnt put him in the best situation to make plays. He signed with Washington to play in a 4-3 not a 3-4..and different lineman are required. If he get back to a 4-3 defense, he will move back to either #1 or #2

Top 10 O-linemen in the NFL

1. Joe Thomas OT

Can easily be debated whos better between him, Long and Clady. I perfer Thomas over the other 2 because hes a better run blocker. Plays on a bad team but still plays hard and will be one of the key cogs on why the future is bright Cleveland. Future Hall of Famer

2. Jake Long OT

Same statements as Thomas but hes a better Pass blocker. Dolphins franchise player and former number 1 pick. Pro Bowler since day 1. Most grade him out as the best lineman in the league Future Hall of Famer

3. Ryan Clady OT

Easily could be the best but the injury last season will keep him here at the 3rd spot. If he return to his old form, the debate will open back up on whos the best.

4. Steve Hutchinson OG

5. Jahri Evans OG

Mean, Nasty, Strong and stout. Wont be beat more than once in a game. Came from a small school and i think that whats fuel his game. Every year pro bowler.

6. Alex Mack C

Best Center in the league. Has only allowed 1.5 sacks in his career.

7. Jordan Gross OT

8. Nick Mangold C

9. Logan Mankins OG
Contract issue last season but still one of the nastiest interior lineman in the game. One of the dirty guys who fight after the whistle and throw punches in piles

10. D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT
