Mock Draft (Ver. 1) Picks 21-32

NFL Draft is here!! This draft could go down as one of the best in the last 10 years for the top 2 players as they fly off the board quickly. I took my time and did the research on these players and alot of potential superstar are available and even future starting QB's in the later rounds. THESE are MY Opinions. So enjoy and tell me what you think and who I might be missing!

Cincinnati Bengals - Pick #21: Dre Kirkpatrick CB - Alabama

Kirkpatrick does not have the ball skills that Morris Claiborne or even Stephon Gilmore have, but he does have a size advantage over both players. He hasnt been beat for a TD since the 8th grade. The Bengals could use another a cornerback with Nate Clements entering his 12th season and Adam Jones’ injury history and alot of uncertainty with Terrence Newman. Kirkpatrick is a physical corner who can step into the nickelback role and can line up across from tight ends and slot receivers.

Cleveland Browns - Pick #22: Kendall Wright WR - Baylor

The Browns passed on Tannehill and are gathering pieces for Colt McCoy. If McCoy doesn't plan out Matt Barkley will always be available with weapons for next season. Here The Browns add another weapon to join Richardson on offense. Wright is a dynamic threat in the slot and can threaten vertically, perfect compliment for high-point monster like Greg Little on the outside.

Detroit Lions - Pick #23: Janoris Jenkins CB - Florida/ North Alabama

The best defensive talent in this entire draft, but the biggest knucklehead. The Best CB in college football 2 years ago, but was kicked out of Florida for failing drug test. Transferred to a division 2 university but still will be available at this selection. Jenkins is 5-10, 192 pounds, but he's faced the best of the best in the SEC even though he had to transfer to North Alabama after being dismissed from the Florida program after three arrest and a failed drug test. He's had 4.4-40 type of speed, isn't afraid to mix it up with bigger receivers and could be the most talented player at his position in the draft. Jenkins is good enough to start in the NFL, but the Lions will have to have done their homework on him and decide he's worth the risk in the first round. He can be the biggest steal in the draft.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Pick #24: Dont'a Hightower ILB - Alabama

A very talented inside linebacker to add to an already nasty linebacking core. The Steelers once again led the league in total and scoring defense in 2011, and the key to their annual success is the play of their linebackers in that 3-4 scheme. LaMarr Woodley and James Harrison bring the pressure from the outside, and inside linebacker Lawrence Timmons is developing into a Pro Bowler. Their weak link was fellow inside backer James Farrior, who was released. Hightower who is a beast against the run and a very efficient pass rusher as an ILB will come in from day 1 and fly all over the field.

Denver Broncos - Pick #25: Dontari Poe DT - Memphis

Denver got the great news of signing Peyton. The allows Denver to be flexible and take some chances on the defensive side. They are is desperate need of defensive line and they can take the chance of draft Poe. Poe was the winner of the combine but at times his combine numbers dont match his game tape. The combine numbers are hard to ignore tho. No Man 6'6 and 340 pound should be running a 4.6-4.7 forty. At one point Poe is was going as high as #10 but hes going to take a fall and Denver can afford to hit or miss at this spot. His selection is based off potential.

Houston Texans - Pick #26: Stephen Hill WR - Georgia Tech

Great fit aside Andre Johnson. Hill is a sub 4.4 blazer and tall as hell. He hasn’t seen as many receptions as most prospects due to the unusual offense Georgia Tech runs, but the same was said of Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas. He also averaged about 30 yards per catch.

New England Patriots - Pick #27: Stephon Gilmore CB - South Carolina

New England's secondary has been a trash the past 2 seasons, finishing 30th in 2010 and 31st this past season. Talent is a concern but depth is too. After the 2012 season, 7 DBs will be free agents, including Arrington and Chung. Gilmore could be a nice complement to McCourty.

Green Bay Packers - Pick #28: Whitney Mercilus DE/OLB - Illinois

They could use pass rush help as well as patchwork along the defensive line. Mercillus brings a stronger, bigger presence opposite Clay Matthews. Hes not great against the run but they don't need him to be.

Baltimore Ravens - Pick #29 Cordy Glenn OG - Georgia

Glenn represents the kind of player who can come in and maybe line up next to a veteran at guard for a few years, then be able to slide out to tackle given development. He has the length, hand strength and footwork to be a serviceable tackle right off. In fact, Quinton Coples, Melvin Ingram and Courtney Upshaw all told us that Glenn was the best offensive lineman at the Senior Bowl. I will be shocked if he falls this far in the draft but team have more pressing needs for a Guard early in the first round. Fill an instant spot that Ben Grubbs left.

San Francisco 49ers - Pick #30: Kevin Zeitler OG - Wisconsin

The top need of San Francisco is filled in with Zeitler. He will be a welcome addition to the SF OLine, with 2012 starter Snyder now an Arizona Cardinal. The 49ers could go defensive line here but like to fill that RG spot.

New England Patriots - Pick #31: Andre Branch DE/OLB - Clemson

The Patriots add again to this defense going with OLB Andre Branch. Branch is custom-built to play OLB in the Pats' 3-4 defensive alignment and is capable in playing in a 2point or a 3point stance.

New York Giants - Pick #32: Coby Fleener TE - Stanford

The Giants won the Super Bowl in 2011 without a threat from the tight end, but that will change with the addition of Fleener. After losing Jake Ballard to a major knee injury, Fleener will be draft and expected to start as a rookie, and I expect him to thrive as a middle-of-the-field attention-grabber. That's scary for defenses because that may force them to address either Victor Cruz or Hakeem Nicks with little to no safety help.

Mock Draft (Ver. 1) Picks 11-20

Kansas City Chiefs - Pick #11: Luke Kuechly LB - Boston College

As a Florida State fan, i got to seed Luke Kuechly alot and it seemed like he was making tackles when he isn’t even on the field. He has a nose for the ball and leadership ability to match. Just watch tape on Kuechly. He is a tackling machine with good size, natural instincts and above-average athleticism. Is the kind of talent who can make an impact inside from day one. Adding Kuechly to the linebacking corps would cement the middle and provide another playmaker next to Derrick Johnson.

Seattle Seahawks - Pick #12: Quinton Coples DE/ OLB - UNC

The Seahawks need a pass rusher and Coples can bring that from the Defensive End position or from the Outside Linebacker position. The Seahawks need him to play their "Elephant position" The concept of elephant defensive end. Basically it’s kind of a hybrid linebacker/defensive end type player who’s got some 3-4 principles and it was a way to generate some pass rush and also be really super effective against the run. Perfect fit for Pete Carroll.

Arizona Cardinals - Pick #13: David DeCastro OG - Stanford

The Cards need offensive line help desperately and are also in the market for a middle linebacker. Reaching this high for Donta Hightower wont make that much sense. I dont see them reaching for Stanford LT Jonathan Martin either, and while it is early to draft an interior offensive lineman, Decastro game is very special.

Dallas Cowboys - Pick #14: Mark Barron S - Alabama

As bad as the Cowboys want to take Courney Upshaw here, the team will be giving Anthony Spencer his last chance to make plays. The Cowboys addressed some of their problems in the secondary with signing Brandon Carr. Now they insert Mark Barron at the Safety position. He will never wow you like a Troy Polamalu or Ed Reed, but he can have the same impact as a Adrian Wilson. Smart, instinctive player who don't miss tackles. Look for him to have an instant impact and help the Cowboys have one of the better secondaries in 2012.

Philadelphia Eagles - Pick 15: Fletcher Cox DT - Mississippi St

Such an important part of a team’s pass rush is upfield penetration and havoc caused by interior defensive linemen. Cox was a four-time SEC defensive player of the week in 2011, due largely to his ability to push single blockers and double-teams alike into the heart of the pocket. It would surprise if the Eagles try to trade up think Cox will be off the board. In my opinion, i believe Cox is the best Defensive lineman in this draft and adding him at the 3 Tech. playing alongside Babin and Trent Cole, the rich get richer.

Carolina Panthers - Pick #16 (trade from Jets): Michael Brockers DT - LSU

Brockers, who stands 6'6" and 320 pounds, would be able to play either defensive tackle or end. Carolina needs help badly and this guy is more of a sure fire than Poe. The Receiver position would be looked at here as well but i still think they can find a solid #2 in the later rounds.

Cincinnati Bengals - Pick #17: Courney Upshaw OLB - Alabama

One of my favorite players in this draft, I feel like Upshaw is too disruptive to be passed here. He is a damn menace. Many analysts worry about where he best projects as a pro, (standing up in 3-4 or playing end in a 4-3. I believe Marvin Lewis does not share those concerns. He always draft kids that played at Big time programs and won games. Corner would have been the selection here but the signing of Terrence Newman and put that spot on hold.

San Diego Chargers - Pick #18: Nick Perry DE/OLB - USC

Larry English never did anything for the Chargers, and they’re long past the days of Shawne Merriman. In the AFC West, you have to get after the quarterback and Nick Perry can do that as well as anybody in this draft. I think he can have the sneaky type of production like Aldon Smith had for the 49ers.

Chicago Bears - Pick #19: Jonathan Martin OT - Stanford

Jay Cutler doesn’t want to get his head smashed in anymore. The offensive line has been abysmal in Chicago, and its not completely do to injury, some of those guys are just plain terrible. This is the year they stop waiting so late and take a guy in the first round. This would be a great pick for the Bears and Martin could develop into a great player at a premium position. Look for the Bears to take awhile at this pick with Kendell Wright sitting there on the board.

Tennessee Titans - Pick #20: Devon Still DT - Penn St.

Tennessee had a solid rotation at defensive tackle last season, with guys like Jason Jones, Karl Klug, and Jurrell Casey. However, Jones departed in the offseason for Seattle, so the Titans needs to add another player to keep that rotation strong. Brockers have already been picked and Poe is too much of a risk. Still is one of the most consistant players in this draft. He's quick at the snap and a disruptive force in the backfield. Facing Adrian Foster, Jones-Drew twice a year, they're going to need him to do that.

Indianapolis Colts - Pick #1: Andrew Luck QB - Stanford

The Colts making the transition from Peyton Manning makes this choice very easy. Irsay knows he cant afford Peyton, so he gets the kid who's very similar. Luck has skill that is beyond his years and his transition to the NFL shouldn't take much time. I believe he among a few in the draft will be future Hall of Famers.

Washington Redskins - Pick #2: Robert Griffin III QB - Baylor

As RGIII would put it, this isnt the 2nd pick, this is Pick 1B. All year i raved about how great this guy is and he left it all on the field. Becoming the first Heisman in Baylor history, beating Texas and OU in the same season and winning their bowl game. His deep ball accuracy is something I havent seen from a College QB in a long long time. His footwork and speed is enticing but not what he relies on to beat team. His skill set and Washington offense is a perfect match and he is my front runner for rookie of the year and a down the road Hall of Famer.

Minnesota Vikings - Pick #3: Morris Claiborne CB - LSU

This pick everybody is making this out to be Matt Kalil. The pick makes sense but in a division with Calvin Johnson/Stafford, Rodgers/Jennings, Cutler/Marshall twice a year, the CB position is very important, so thats why i believe the Vikings will select Mo Claiborne. The vikings are a little older in the secondary and Antoine Winfield isnt getting any younger. They tried to bring Mo down a bit with the leaked Wonderlic score but this kid is a stud and will be a lockdown CB for years to come.

Cleveland Browns - Pick #4: Trent Richardson RB - Alabama

The Browns are in severe need of playmakers on offense and Trent Richardson is the only offensive player now left on your board who has the ability to change your franchise the minute he gets to town. One of those backs that not sharing carries all game with a chance of pace back. One of those type of backs you see every 7-8 years.

Tampa Bay Bucs - Pick #5: Matt Kalil OT - USC

New head coach Greg Schiano would have loved Trent Richardson to fall to this spot, but this isn’t a terrible backup plan. Josh Freeman needs time to let routes develop and utilize his big arm. The Bucs have T Donald Penn, but you have the opportunity to now shore up a developing O-line with the addition of a budding fixture for years to come. Add Kalil with Penn and signing Carl Nicks in free agency, also adding Vincent Jackson. The Bucs now have offensive pieces to make some noise. Kalil, I believe would've been the 3rd Pick to the Vikings but he wont have that type of impact as a Jake Long or Joe Thomas to go that high.

ST. Louis Rams - Pick #6: Justin Blackmon WR - Oklahoma St.

The rumor around the league is the Rams have been looking very hard at Michael Brockers DT from LSU but they cant ignore their weakness at the WR position. With the loss of Brandon Lloyd, addressing the defensive line would not make that much sense this early in the draft. The Rams was one of the lowest scoring team in the NFL and Blackmon is suitable at this point given the team’s need for productive offensive scoring weapons.

Jacksonville Jaguars - Pick #7: Michael Floyd WR - Notre Dame

The hardest pick on the board to mock. The Jags biggest needs are a pass rusher and receiver, both of which are usually available here. Watching tape on both of these WR's. I starting to believe that Floyd is a better overall WR than Blackmon and has the better potential to transition into a dominating #1. I have little faith in Laurent Robinson to answer the bell as the #1 guys but I believe he can as the teams #2. The Jags desperately should want to give expensive second-year QB Blaine Gabbert a chance to succeed, Michael Floyd would give them that best option. Now you surround Blaine with, Jones-Drew, Floyd, and Mercedes Lewis.

Miami Dolphins - Pick # 8: Ryan Tannehill QB - Texas A&M

Usually every draft, some player will skyrocket outta nowhere and be drafted at a slot that they have no business being drafted at. This year that player is Ryan Tannehill. The Dolphins lost out on Peyton Manning and Matt Flynn. They traded Brandon Marshall and their still a lil weak at RB. These are the picks that get GM's and Coaches fired or make them look like geniuses. Tannehill’s former college head coach, Mike Sherman is now offensive coordinator in Miami. The former WR
has all the tools to be a star at QB but hes very raw at the position, only playing QB for 2 years. If I was drafting in this position, I would trade the pick.

New York Jets - Pick #9: (From Carolina Panthers) Melvin Ingram DE/OLB - S. Carolina

I believe this will be the first trade in the draft. The Panthers miss out on the 2 stud WRs, and #9 is too high for Kendall Wright. The other DT's on the board doesn't have enough impact to be a top 10 player drafted. Quinton Coples would alson be a nice replacement for Julius Peppers but he doesn't play hard every down. The Jets will be the team to move up to get the guy that they want. Rex Ryan defense lacked a pass rusher who can get after the QB. Melvin Ingram has a crazy motor, He is non-stop and is able to play every position along the defensive line both upright and in a three-point stance.

Buffalo Bills - Pick #10: Riley Reiff OT - Iowa

The Bills wont be happy that Floyd and Blackmon are off the board, but having lost LT Demetrius Bell to free agency, and having strongly addressed their defensive line with Mario Williams and Mark Anderson, the focus here shifts to offensive line.
